We ask that you inform us first so that we know who to expect on the night. From there you can be formally inducted into the group and added to the Dropbox and Facebook group (a closed group for now).
The main reason we do it this way is to make it harder for SPAM and other automated mailers to fill our inbox and chat channels (as it takes more time and effort than it’s worth to filter to find genuine members mails).
